This part isn't as complicated as it may seem.  It is the female part that fits anything low pressure (garden hose) related.  These are available in both stainless steel and brass.  This is the stainless steel version.

This Quick Disconnect can be used for the following:

• Outlet of Hose
• Outlet of 6.5' Inlet Hose
• Outlet of Garden Hose
• Inlet and Outlet of CR Spotless
